14" (36 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and
painted facial features,pale blue side-glancing
eyes with grey eye shadow and curly upper
lashes,closed mouth,blonde mohair wig with
center-part,jointing at shoulders and hips.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci
(cloth and paper tags,the paper label identifying
the doll as "Lucy 47"). Comments: Lenci,circa
1935,the doll is wearing his original striped
cotton pajamas under brown and tan felt bathrobe
with pockets and wooden-button-tipped belt
tie,brown quilted felt slippers,socks. Value
Points: vibrant complexion,hair and costume of the
charming fellow are well-preserved.
