12" (30 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head,small
blue glass sleep eyes,painted curly lashes,incised
eyeliner,feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth modeled as though open with
beaming smile,two sculpted lower teeth,brunette
mohair wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed
body,antique white pique costume and cap.
Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Heubach
(sunburst mark) Germany 3. Comments: Gebruder
Heubach,circa 1912. Value Points: exceptional
quality of sculpting with well-defined cheek
dimples and philtrum,enhanced by fine gleaming patina.
