lacquered and gold-painted details on the 16
blades,and having hand-painted court scenes on
both front and back of the folding paper leaves;
the scenes are highly-detailed with numerous
people. Along with a carved-bone 16 blade folding
fan with brass and mother-of-pearl loop and with
ivory silk satin and Alencon lace trim. Excellent
condition and luxury quality of the late 19th
century fans.
