17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with very plump face, pressed and painted facial features, brown side-glancing eyes with white eyedots, brown painted upper lashes, single-dot brows, accented nostrils, heart-shaped tiny lips, blonde mohair curly wig, jointing at shoulders and hips, wearing original aqua felt dress with yellow-felt diamond point edging and decorated with yellow felt flowers, matching hair bow and shoes, socks, undergarment. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Italian, probably Lenci, early 1930s. Value Points: delightful child that is impeccably preserved, with distinctive facial painting, well-preserved blush on cheeks, hands and knees, vibrant original costume.
