Description
23" (58 cm.) x 11" x 11". A wooden cabinet with
rosewood and ebonized finish has a 58 note
musical comb that plays eight different tunes,with
drums,bells and castanet for musical accents; the
bells are struck by three brass figural birds that
are visible through the glass window lid. There is
a hidden coin drawer at one side and a wooden
turning handle at the other. Excellent condition.
Swiss,circa 1900,an especially beautiful musical
sound.
