20" (51 cm.) Felt swivel head with slender,oval
face and having amber-tinted complexion,painted
brown wide-glancing eyes with curly upper lashes
and extended-length side lashes,high-arched
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with shaded
lower lip,black mohair wig,stitch-jointing at
shoulder and hips,elongated slender limbs.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments:
Lenci,the 1940s version of their highly-stylized
salon doll of the 1920s. Value Points: rare doll
with beautifully-painted face,original felt and
taffeta costume with applique felt flowers and
leaves on the costume and presented as a
delightful cap and as a nosegay.
