17" (43 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, shapely kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, Barrois, circa 1865. Value Points: very beautiful pale bisque with delicately painted features, brilliant eyes, very sturdy body, antique folklore costume of Normandy, France.
