26" (66 cm.) Poured wax shoulder head with plump
facial shape,small blue glass inset
eyes,lightly-tinted brows and eye liner,accented
nostrils,closed mouth modeled as though open with
hint of teeth and tongue,blonde mohair inserted
hair,softly-stuffed muslin body,poured wax lower
arms and legs with bare feet. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: C.P. Comments: attributed to
Pierotti,circa 1880,the C.P. initials referencing
Charles Pierotti,the 1871 successor to father
Henry. Value Points: absolutely exquisite wax
model with finest hand-stitched and embroidered
costume,jacket,bonnet,undergarments,silk shoes.
