16" (41 cm.) All-cloth doll with flat-dimensional
face,rounded black shoe-button eyes,comma-shaped
thick brows,four lashes under each eye,red
triangle-shaped nose,thick black mouth with tiny
red center,burgundy-red worsted wool
hair,stitch-jointed body with sewn-on red and
white stockings and black shoes. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Raggedy Andy by
Volland,early 1930s,from Gruelle designs. Value
Points: the well-preserved doll is wearing his
original brown plaid shirt with bow tie,blue
cotton pants with white buttons,matching cap.
