Description
14" (36 cm.) Each with oilcloth face with
flat-dimensional features,large round bug-eyed
expression with black eye outline and four upper
lashes,teardrop-shaped nose,wide beaming red lip
smile,red wool hair,muslin stitch-jointed body
with blue and white checkered legs,black sewn-on
shoes. Condition: generally excellent,AndyÞs face
darker but appears original. Comments: American
Toy and Novelty of Philadelphia,circa 1940,the
dolls were marketed as Buddy and Sis,but clearly
attempted to capture the Raggedy Ann and Andy doll
market.
