10" (25 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead depicting a young boy with plump cheeks and double chin, deeply-incised sculpted short brown hair with forelock curl, large enamel eyes, rounded nose, closed mouth with wide beaming smile, painted teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, painted black shoes with red buckles, wearing gold silk jacket and shirt, blue silk short pants. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
