8" (20 cm.) Carved wooden head with painted facial
features,round black eyes,closed mouth with
beaming smile,painted teeth,applied
ears,all-wooden articulated body with slits in
hand and feet for positioning. Condition:
generally excellent,original finish well-preserved
with two tiny paint rubs on cheeks,one tiny moth
hole in jacket,hat paint rubbed. Comments:
Schoenhut,circa 1910,the Black Dude character from
the firmÞs circus personnel. Value Points: rarer
model with fine original finish,wearing his
original well-preserved costume.
