5" (13 cm.) inside head width. An elaborately
woven straw bonnet with curled wide straw
bands,and unusual extravagant wide straw
ribbon-like loops trimmed with crepe-de-chene,has
ivory satin pleated ruffles and gathered flounce
at the side,a purple and cream ribbon trim,full
silk lining,and has original millinerÞs label on
interior "Modes,Maison Courdes,Mlle Louise
Faure,Cahors". Excellent condition. French,circa 1890.
