7 1/2" (19 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged
bisque torso,brown glass sleep eyes,painted
lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented nostrils,open
mouth,tiny row of teeth,blonde mohair
wig,peg-jointed arms and legs,painted black
stockings to above the knees,painted brown heeled
ankle boots with four laces. Condition: generally
excellent,an original 1/3" firing line at the top
of back torso. Comments: Simon and Halbig for the
French market,circa 1885. Value Points: rarity
factors include large size,original body with rare
stockings and shoes,and with original wig and very
fancy original silk dress and matching bonnet.
