Description
12" (30 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with blue glass
eyes and painted features,open mouth,teeth,blonde
mohair wig,on attached carton ball with musical
mechanism inside,and then attached to a
nicely-shaped wooden handle. The ball is decorated
with original ivory and rose silk with metallic
fringe,lace collar,clown cap with pom-pom,and when
held and twirled,a musical tune is heard.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: for the
French market,circa 1890.Value Points:
well-preserved party favor with charming musical tune.
