Description
6" (15 cm.) One-piece bisque head,torso and
legs,loop-jointed arms with starfish-shaped
hands,painted blonde hair with topknot and side
curls,blue wings,black side-glancing googly
eyes,closed mouth,painted shoes and socks.
Condition: generally excellent,small chip on right
shoulder,rub mark on cheek. Marks: OÞNeill (feet).
Comments: Kewpie,designed by Rose OÞNeill,made in
Germany,circa 1915. Value Points: Kewpie is
wearing his factory-original Uncle Sam costume,and
has rarer painted shoes and socks.
