17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head,painted facial features,blue painted downcast eyes with thick
black upper eyeliner,fringe-painted upper lashes,feathered slight brows,accented nostrils,closed
mouth with very full petulant outlined lips,blonde mohair wig,composition and wooden ball-
jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 526 6 (head). Comments: Bahr and Proschild
for Kley and Hahn,circa 1910,from their art character series. Value Points: rare larger size with
exemplary quality of bisque and painting,compelling expression,superb wig,original body
finish,wonderful antique costume.
