Bisque socket head with light brown (mulatto) complexion,brown glass eyes,painted dark lashes,black brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with coral-shaded full lips,pierced ears,black/brown hand-knotted human hair wig,brown composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 10. Comments: Kestner,circa 1885,their model referred to as "A.T. Kestner" for its resemblance to that French bebe upon which it drew its inspiration. Value Points: rare doll with beautiful golden brown complexion,original body and body finish,wearing wonderful antique silk dress,undergarments,kidskin shoes,knit stockings,and lace cap.
