Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate,bright blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,arched feathered brows,accented nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with gentle smiling expression,pierced ears,blonde mohair wig over cork pate,original French firmly-stuffed muslin poupee body with kid arms,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent,some wear to fingers. Marks: C (head and shoulder plate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,his deposed poupee model of 1872 with distinctive enigmatic smiling expression. Value Points: rare doll in petite size,wearing original antique blue woolen gown with matching hooded cape trimmed with blue silk ribbons,undergarments,stockings,leather shoes,and turquoise earrings.
