Description
17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and painted facial features, blue side-glancing eyes, grey lower eye shadow, fringed upper lashes, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth, black mohair wig arranged in braided chignon which is decorated with gold beads, jointing at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Lenci (foot stamp). Comments: Lenci, circa 1930 from the 300 character series. Value Points: wearing very detailed folklore costume with richly embroidered laced vest and apron, fringed shawl, organdy blouse, felt skirt with applique strips, pink felt slippers, undergarments, and carrying wooden flax wheel.
