Description
27" (69 cm.) Short dense mohair fur in a lustrous
golden brown color forms the coat of the large
teddy,with shortened wide swivel head lending a
very plump impression,small rounded muzzle with
large black embroidered nose and mouth,amber glass
eyes nearly hidden under the muzzle mohair,large
stitched-on ears,swivel head,disc-jointed limbs
with very long aarms,large feet,canvas-over-muslin
paw pads,embroidered claws,original Chad Valley
label on right foot. Excellent condition,some play
wear to canvas of paw pads. British,Chad
Valley,1950s,the bear was originally used as a
store display and has wonderful expression and
superbly-preserved mohair.
