with sculpted blonde short curly hair waved high
around the forehead and captured with a black hair
band,black glass enamel inset eyes,painted
features,tiny closed mouth,original muslin body
with wooden lower limbs,jointed elbows,painted
yellow ankle boots with black painted
buttons,wearing antique woolen
dress,undergarments. Condition: very good,original
finish,played-with paint rubs on nose,chin and
cheeks. Comments: Germany,circa 1865. Value
Points: included with the doll is an original
early studio photograph in rare large size
depicting a young girl standing alongside a chair
in which she has placed her favorite doll,which is
this exact doll.
