22" (56 cm.) Bisque socket head with
deeply-defined facial expression,painted
shaded-blue eyes with slightly-side-glancing
manner,dark upper eyeliner,one-stroke shaded
brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with
delightful smiling expression,shaded lips,sculpted
row of teeth,blonde mohair wig,composition and
wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 151 S&H 3 (head) Heinrich
Handwerck Germany (body). Comments: Simon and
Halbig,from their very rare art character
series,circa 1910. Value Points: flawless bisque
and painting that is so rare to find on this
model,enhancing the deeply impressed cheek and
mouth dimples and laughter crinkles around the
eyes,original soft wig,body,body finish; the doll
is wearing an original cream party dress with lace
and black silk ribbon trim,woolen hooded
cape,undergarments,stockings,black kidskin
shoes,and owns five additional family-made
costumes from the 1910 era. The doll has been in
the possession of one collector who acquired it
from its original family owners of
