Description
26" (66 cm.) Amber golden mohair with lustrous
silky finish is the "fur" of the large teddy,with
unusual square-shaped face with centering round
muzzle,wide-apart stitched ears,clear glass eyes
with black pupils,brown embroidered nose,mouth and
claws,very plump torso and limbs,disc-jointed arms
and legs,felt paw pads with brown embroidered
claws,with antique collar and bow tie. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: British,WWI era,c.
1916,possibly Farnell. Value Points: the grand
size accentuates the perfectly-preserved condition
of the wonderfully-expressive bear.
