paperweight inset eyes,painted curly
lashes,brush-stroked and feathered brows,accented
nostrils and eye corners,open mouth,shaded and
accented lips,four porcelain teeth,pierced
ears,brunette hand-knotted human hair wig over
cork pate,French composition and wooden
fully-jointed body,wearing original chemise de
nuit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 1
(head). 2 (impressed on back torso and feet).
Comments: the premiere presentation of beloved
Bleuette,from Gautier-Langereau as publicity for
their childrenÞs journal La Semaine de
Suzette,1905. Value Points: rare doll in fine
original condition,included is an antique silk and
lace dress and bonnet based upon the "Robe de
Casino" pattern in La Semaine de Suzette of that
same year,and a wooden dresser (worn finish),with
mirror,French,circa 1925,designed for use with
Bleuette.
