24" (61 cm.) Of thick curly blonde mohair,the
round-faced,swivel-headed bear has a pronounced
shaved muzzle with embroidered nose and mouth in
unique Diem style,close-together clear glass
eyes,large stitched ears,disc-jointed short arms
and plump legs,reinforced soles to facilitate a
standing pose,paws and soles of shaved mohair,very
plump firmly-stuffed torso,embroidered claws.
Condition: near mint. Comments: Richard Diem of
Sonneberg,circa 1940s. Value Points: wonderful
large bear in perfectly-preserved condition with
luxury details of construction.
