Description
22" (56 cm.) Each is all cloth with flat black
shoe-button eyes,printed facial features including
eye whites,four lashes under each eye,red eye
accent dots,red triangle nose with no
outline,smiling lips with red oval center and rosy
cheeks,red worsted wool hair,stitch-jointed body
with sewn-on red and white stockings and black
shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
(each bears Georgene Novelties stamp on torso with
Myrtle Gruelle 1945 and 1947 copyright dates,Andy
has hangtag with 1951 Myrtle Gruelle copyright
date,and each has original box labels,Ann
identified as model 124 and Andy as 224.)
Comments: Georgene Novelties,early 1950s. Value
Points: perfectly preserved in their original
labeled boxes,each is wearing its original costume.
