Description
22" (56 cm.) Walnut upright piano with beautiful
cabinetry work including fluted columns and inlay
designs is designed with removable sound board and
roof to see the intricate internal workings,with
ivory keyboard with 16 keys,shoe-shaped working
pedals,sound board with gold silk pleated cover
and gold metal frame to hide the striking
mechanism. The intricate mechanism as well as the
removable cover panels suggest the piano was a
miniature or salesman sample version of an actual
Victorian parlor piano. Excellent
condition,actually plays needs a tuning.
English,mid-19th century,very rare,a perfect
accessory for dolls.
