Description
14" (36 cm.) All-cloth dolls with flat-dimensional
faces,silk-screen printed facial features with
very over-sized eyes,large black notched
pupils,three lashes below each eye,small
brows,widely-beaming smile with center red
accent,thickly-outlined red triangle nose,red wool
yarn hair framing the face while the back and
crown of the head has a sewn-on cotton cap to
match the costume,stitch-jointed
body,multi-colored striped sewn-on
stockings,sewn-on blue shoes,AnnÞs arms with
sewn-on sleeves that extend to form into her
hands. Condition: facial stain on AnnÞs
mouth,small stain by AndyÞs nose and
pants,otherwise excellent. Comments: created by
Molly-E for three years only,c. 1935. Value
Points: very rare to find dolls with wonderful
faces,original matching costumes and caps.
