glass sleep eyes,thick black
eyeliner,delicately-feathered brows and
lashes,accented eye corners,shaded nostrils,closed
mouth with accent line between the primly-set
lips,dimpled chin and philtrum,brunette mohair
wig,early composition and wooden
eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight
wrists,antique white cotton dress with lace
trim,undergarments,cream kidskin shoes,lace
bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks:
938#13 (on crown rim). Comments: Alt,Beck and
Gottschalck,circa 1885. Value Points: rare early
closed mouth model especially in this larger
size,with superior modeling,her exquisite pale
bisque highlighted by luminous patina,original
plump body and body finish.
