10" (25 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with oval face slightly leaning to the side,slender elongated throat,sloping shoulders,grey hair waved away from her face and captured in a white and lustre pink bonnet with painted designs to simulate embroidery,one tumbling curl at the back neck,pink-tinted complexion,thickly-outlined painted blue downcast eyes,thick brush-stroked brows,closed mouth,muslin stitch-jointed body,porcelain lower limbs,painted flat black shoes,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: maker unknown,the decorative style is suggestive of French production,circa 1860. Value Points: rare model in appealing petite size with wonderful detail of hair and rare sculpted bonnet.
