Carved wooden socket head with well-defined carved center-parted hair with coiled side braids,painted facial features,brown upper-glancing eyes,black and brown upper eyeliner,brown one-stroke brows,closed mouth with gentle smile,dimpled chin and lip corners,all-wooden body with jointing at shoulders,elbows,hips and knees,painted red stockings and black shoes. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Swiss,early 20th century. Value Points: the pensive-face girl in rare larger size,is wearing her original Swiss folklore costume,her black velvet bodice liberally decorated with silver ornaments and glass beads.
