17" (43 cm.) Felt swivel head with pressed and
painted facial features,very plump cheeks,brown
painted side-glancing eyes,grey eye shadow,short
fringed brows and lashes,accented nostrils,closed
mouth in pouting expression,coral shaded lower
lip,blonde mohair bobbed wig,jointing at shoulders
and hips. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Lenci,the doll appeared in the 1928
catalog of that firm as model 300/7. Value Points:
rare doll with perfectly-preserved vibrant costume
comprising parade uniform in shades of
yellow,turquoise and cream felt,with pink
collar,rows of brass buttons on jacket and
thigh-high felt leggings,tasseled cap,with
