15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with
blonde sculpted hair in wind-blown tousled
style,one lock of hair tumbling onto his forehead
and curls tucked behind his well-sculpted
ears,painted light blue large round googly eyes
glancing to the right and downward,red and black
upper eyeliner,brown one-stroke brows,rounded
button-shaped nose with accent dots,closed mouth
with center accent line forming into corner lip
dimples,composition and wooden fully-jointed
toddler body with side-hip jointing,antique romper
suit,stockings,shoes. Condition: generally
excellent. Marks: 8 Heubach (in square) Germany
8590. Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1915. Value
Points: among the rarest of the Heubach models,the
sculpted details are so fine as to appear almost
hand-sculpted,fine quality of bisque and
painting,and a wonderful expression.
