Description
3 1/2" (9 cm.) dolls. Each doll has one-piece
bisque head and torso,blue glass eyes,painted
features,closed mouth,mohair wig,peg-jointed arms
and legs,painted shoes and socks,and is wearing
its factory-original folklore costume. Condition:
generally excellent. Comments: Germany,circa 1900.
Value Points: included with the all-original boy
and girl are four German miniature Papier-mache
animals: glass-eyed donkey with flannel coat and
saddle with original paper label "Made in
Germany"; brown horse with one glass eyes (one
missing),hide coat,leather saddle and harness;
dark brown cow with hide coat,red collar,bell and
amber glass eyes; and brown and white cow with
hide cover,amber glass eyes,and collar.
