29" (74 cm.) (including ears). The bunnies,posed
standing with unjointed legs,have "fur" cover on
head,upper hands and legs of shaved mohair or wool
plush,each with swivel head,large brown glass
eyes,armature-shaped stand-up ears,fabric torso
and arms. Condition: near mint. Marks: (Steiff
button in ear with remains of yellow cloth label)
Made in US Zone Germany (cloth tag in seam).
Comments: Steiff,Germany,circa 1950. Value Points:
extremely rare exhibition models,in fine grand
size,wonderfully-preserved,and wearing their
vibrant original matching costumes complete even
to the dainty flower on the shirt of
each,especially rare to find in this matched pair.
