human hair wig in long arranged curls,five-piece composition body. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: portrait doll of Deanna Durbin (born 1921 in Canada),singer and
actress,star of musical films throughout the 1930s and 1940s. Ideal,circa 1939. Value Points:
the beautiful doll with perfectly-kept hair and costume,is wearing her original white organdy
gown with checkered-cotton sleeves,sash and ruffle,undergarments,gold snap shoes,and
having a vintage celluloid button with her image and the words,"She's a doll". Included is an
early studio photograph autographed Deanna Durbin,music sheet "Always"with Deanna on the
cover and the message "sung by Deanna Durbin in the Universal Picture Christmas
Holiday",and a Spanish folding paper doll book featuring her. $
