Comments: Effanbee,their licensed Skippy doll,based on the comic strip character drawn by Percy
Crosby,and in 1931 made into a movie with child actor,Jackie Cooper. Value Points: the character
doll,with cross-over interest in comic strips and celebrity dolls,is wonderfully executed with
simple line-painted features.
