brows,real lashes,closed mouth with ruby lips,reddish/brown mohair wig with elaborate
coiffure,five-piece composition body. Condition: very good,surface craze lines on face and
arms,split on right torso,some costume fading and hair corsage missing. Comments: Madame
Alexander,from her series of portrait dolls first created in 1938,and re-introduced in 1946 at the
New York Toy Fair,presented is "Judy"wearing her original cream taffeta gown with elaborate
flounces at the skirt and shoulders and little floral corsage,button bosom,pink petticoat and
panties,pink silk-like shoes. Value Points: extremely rare doll with exquisite gown.
