17"(43 cm.) Composition head with small sleep eyes,sculpted tan short hair,painted lashes and
brows,tiny rounded nose,closed mouth,deeply-dimpled expression,muslin stitch-jointed
body,composition hands,original sewn-on flannel costume in yellows and greens with matching
cap depicting Peter Pan. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Ideal (in diamond). Comments:
Ideal,circa 1924,from Paramount's silent film of that year starring Betty Bronson as Peter Pan.
Value Points: rare doll with original costume,original well-preserved finish,and with original
"Peter Pan"paper label,and original celluloid button depicting Betty Bronson; an autographed
photograph of Betty Bronson is included.
