Bisque socket head,blue glass paperweight inset eyes,dark eyeliner,lushly- painted lashes,brush-stroked brows,accented eye corners and nostrils,open mouth,outlined shaded lips,row of porcelain teeth,pierced ears,(new) blonde human hair wig over cork pate,French composition and wooden fully-jointed body with very plump proportions. Condition: generally excellent,the head seems one size short for the body yet the neck socket fit is perfect. Marks: 17 (head) Bebe Jumeau Diplome d'Honneur (body label). Comments: Emile Jumeau toward the end of the 19th century,the bebe was likely presented as an Exhibition model,as no bebes in this very grand size were offered in the various department store catalogs. Value Points: extremely rare size of the beloved bebe,possibly one-of-a-kind,is wearing her original Jumeau blue flowered chemise which is also virtually unknown in this size.
