26"(66 cm.) Composition head with painted short brown hair,painted blue side-glancing eyes
with large black pupils and white eyedots,eyeliner,thickly-painted brows,closed mouth,muslin
torso and upper limbs with very elongated shape,painted white gloves and black shoes.
Condition: generally excellent. Comments: late 1920s,the doll was likely inspired by two silent
screen films that appeared at that time,"Dress Parade"in 1927 and "West Point"in 1928; both
films were filmed at West Point. Value Points: the doll is perfectly-preserved,wearing his original
grey woolen uniform with rows of brass buttons,and cap with brass emblem.
