Description
17"(43 cm.) Hand-cast bronze head with golden bronze finish depicts the legendary American
artist. The head,a self-portrait,was sculpted by Gloria Swanson in 1964,exhibited at Hamilton's in
London,and was sold as the final lot in the Gloria Swanson estate auction in 1983,acquired at
that time by Billie Nelson Tyrrell.
