black hair in modish bob,painted brown side-glancing eyes with dark eye shadow,closed mouth
with row of teeth,armature-wrapped body,and wearing original red crepe costume with stars and
stripes accents. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: 1920s portrait doll of unidentified
actress,made exclusively for The Art Shop of the Ambassador Hotel,home of the Coconut Grove
night club. Value Points: especially fine example of the uniquely-commissioned dolls with
beautiful face and hair,great costume.
