Pressed bisque socket head,brown glass enamel inset eyes,painted lashes,lightly- feathered brows,mauve-blushed eye shadow,accented nostrils,closed mouth with outlined lips,original blonde lambswool wig over cork pate,French composition and wooden eight-loose- ball-jointed body with straight wrists. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 4 (head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau,circa 1878,his rare early period bebe. Value Points: rare model to find with fine pale yet luminous bisque,original wig,body and body finish,and wearing beautiful antique maroon dress,black silk apron,black velvet cap with silk ribbons,undergarments,maroon stockings,and black leather ankle boots signed M.G.
