25"(64 cm.) Bisque socket head,painted blue eyes with shaded detail,thick black upper eyeliner
on the heavily-modeled eyelids,one-stroke tapered brows,rounded nose,closed mouth with very
full outlined lips,dimpled chin,blonde mohair wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed
body,wearing wonderful antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 64.
Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt,circa 1910,the "Gretchen"model from their art character
series. Value Points: very rare-to-find large size of this wistful-faced girl,allowing for superb
definition of facial features enhanced by artistic painting,original body and body finish,wig,and
costume.
