20"h.,x 17"w. x 12"d. The wooden-framed theatre with lithographed paper designs of an
elaborate nature,including cherubs and mythological figures,has one set of scenery that reverses
to show another,two sets of side panels,and original red curtain that lifts and lowers. The entire
theatre can be dismantled and stored in the base box. Very good original condition. Distributed
by Hermann Kurtz,the theatre is shown in their 1912 wholesale catalog,but was likely made for
many years prior to that also.
