Each is all hard plastic,with socket head,sleep eyes,closed mouth,and five-piece hard plastic body,two with "Maggie"face,and each having superbly-preserved original coiffure,each with original tagged costume. Condition: generally excellent,beautiful facial complexions and coiffure,Jo's costume has small spot on skirt. Comments: depicted are the four Little Woman and Marme from Louisa Alcott's 19th century novel,each wearing their original tagged costume,circa 1950. Value Points: the Little Women dolls,always favorites of Madame Alexander,were re-issued in conjunction with the 1949 film. Four of the stars of that film have autographed their doll: "To Billie,a ?while' later"(Janet Leigh); "For Billie,June Allyson","To Billie,Best Wishes,Margaret O'Brien",and "Elizabeth Taylor".
