15" (38 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta turned shoulderhead, brown sculpted hair with tendrils of curls around her forehead and captured in a blue snood with red band and bow behind her fully-sculpted ears, incised age lines, enamel eyes, closed mouth with downturned lips, double chin, modeled bosom, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, blue stockings and yellow clogs, earrings and necklace. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, very unique expression, modeled snood, well-preserved original folklore costume.
