The cloth doll with slightly-dimensional facial features has oil- painted face with fine definition of features and planes,light brown hair,The doll is seated on a silk-covered day bed with paisley and beaded pillow,wearing silk pajamas and slippers,holding cigarette. Condition: very good,some dust and fraility to silk cover and slippers. Marks: Made by Mary Green (cloth label). Comments: the doll depicts Rudolph Valentino in a classic pose made famous by studio photos (some included with the lot),by artist Mary Green,1940s,under commission from Daniel Blum of Screen World Annual who used the dolls in his publication.
